Bilingual AMS Case Coordinator

Adecco is currently hiring for a Bilingual AMS Case Coordinator to work a 100% remote for now with a possibility of returning to work into the office in Quebec. Our client is a leading insurance company and within this role, you will be responsible for the prioritization of all incoming disability cases to determine their complexity and will manage all non-complex cases to resolution. You will also have accountability for delivering superior client services and effective communication to employees and employers throughout the life of the case. This is a 1-year full time contract position paying $22.94/hr. Open to candidates from all over Quebec and Ontario (near Qc border – Ottawa, Hawkesbury, etc.

The Bilingual AMS Case Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, monitor, and implement innovative case management services focusing on reducing the duration of plan sponsors employee work absences
  • Identify and resolve disability and workplace issues through direct contact/phone consultation with plan sponsors, employees, physicians, and other health care professionals
  • Complete specified administrative tasks on all cases, which include faxing, forms preparation and employee follow-ups
  • Manage medical/non-medical and complex cases using a goal-oriented plan
  • The Bilingual AMS Case Coordinator Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field is required – such as Kinesiology, Nursing, Psychology, Physiotherapy, rehabilitation or occupational health, or other regulated health care discipline
  • Bilingualism in French and English required
  • Good understanding and previous experience with medical terminology and conditions is preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Healthcare background needed
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and Word
  • Completion of some related insurance industry courses would be an asset, along with previous Group Disability Claims experience
