Advisor-Stem Cell Donor Registry

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Supervisor-Reference and Stem Cell Laboratory and Registry, you look for compatible donors for transplant centres in Québec and follow up on selected cord blood/donor records.

Specifically, you:
•Qualify stem cell donors, cord blood donors and breast milk donors through a telephone questionnaire;
•Search for compatible donors for patients in Québec transplant centres;
•Coordinate the management of selection records and distribute international cord blood units;
•Perform administrative records monitoring (verification, issuance of non-compliance);
•Communicate internationally with stem cell donor registries;
•Collect and transfer information to files of medical centres, international registries and our analytical laboratories;
•Participate in the preparation of the donation of the selected donors;
•Participate in the collection of post-transplant data and compile statistics.

REQUIREMENTS
•A college diploma in nursing techniques;
•Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ);
•A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience;
•Experience in a regulatory field will be considered an asset;
•Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite;
•Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
