ABOUT THE JOB Our client is recognized as the largest and most trusted Canadian provider of background checks in the marketplace.

We are currently seeking a bilingual Verification Officer.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Verification Officer is responsible for the day-to-day processing of client verification files assigned to him/her in accordance with established procedures.

These services primarily include reference checks at all levels: criminal and civil background, credit record, driving record, as well as degrees, professional accreditation and other services offered by the company.

– Obtain the necessary consent documents for the requested audits
– Clearly understand the nature and limits of the mandate given by the client
– Conduct regular follow-ups according to the needs of the clients and answer their questions in a timely manner
– Bring the results of the audits to the client according to the established procedure and propose other avenues of research, if necessary
– Synthesize the information obtained in the form of reports written in a professional and understandable manner
– Respect the deadlines for service of client requests
– Make and answer incoming calls to complete audits
– Ensure compliance with all company confidentiality and security standards
– Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
– Perform any other tasks that may be assigned.

– Profile with experience in customer service (excellent oral communication skills)
– Bilingualism, oral and written (French, English)
– Typing skills (minimum typing speed)
– Very good knowledge of computer tools, web, usual databases or any other tool specific to audits
– Organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail
– Ability to clearly communicate research results
