The IT Software Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for different SAM activities with our customers base which includes: Participation to software audits, reconciliation/compliance activities, inventory/license gathering/cleansing, SAM tools vendor onboarding.

The position also focuses on creating and maintaining an accurate inventory of software licenses, participating in renewal work for license maintenance agreements and conducting internal software license reviews.Responsibilities : Analyze licensing entitlements and deployments to create effective licensing positions for clients Calculate both license entitlements and license consumption using industry standard tools and deliver results to customer Analyze and understand current licensing entitlements and contract, including upgrade/downgrade paths Create license positions for Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, VMWare and other software publishers Assist with presenting findings to customers and offer feedback on utilization and optimization SAM tool vendor onboarding Provide effective governance to ensure asset management processes and procedures are effectively being adhered to by internal teams and service partners.

Obtain information and clarification on licensing, product changes, costing and invoicing and communicate and facilitate any such changes.

Ensure that asset inventories and IT tools are updated.

Actively participate in the creation and optimization of standard operating procedures, processes, guidelines and documentation for all asset management processes.

Provide support and expertise while working closely with internal and external team members on related project work.

Your Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 1 – 2 years of experience in Software sales/licensing or end-user software asset management or IT/Cloud infrastructure or equivalent experience Good working knowledge and understanding of software licensing with major vendors Experience working with users from a customer service perspective Good interpersonal and communication skills Result oriented with strong planning and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Bilingualism, an asset Experience with SAM tool configuration, an assetSW (Gente SW1 ou Softchoice).
