Head of IT and security services

Fed IT, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for IT professions, intervene
on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.
All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and evolve in your
universe. We cover open positions in IT, development, business intelligence, and infrastructure professions.

We are currently looking for an IT and security services manager for one of our clients located in the east of the island, a few minutes from the Henri-Bourassa metro station.

* Have a global vision of your service;
* Liaise with management and the various departments to define needs;
* Collaborate in the review and writing of policies, procedures, and technical manuals
* Participate in meetings and training planned by management, when required;
* Analyze technological needs, ensure that IT systems meet the needs of the organization and manage priorities;
* Ensure the acquisition of efficient technological equipment and software;
* Define an investment strategy for the purchase of hardware and software;
* Perform regular system maintenance tasks and ensure that systems meet performance and safety standards;
* Ensure the proper functioning of the network administration in place;
* Ensure technological monitoring: updating existing equipment and carrying out a comparative analysis of the new tools available;
* Coordinate and supervise the work of technicians and other professionals under his supervision;
* Manage the organization’s software licenses;
* Actively participate in planning strategic choices of networks and computer systems for the organization;
* Participate in projects related to information technology
* Develop and update technical guides and user guides;
* Identify needs for upgrades, configuration, or new systems;
* Provide technical support for users and implement solutions to meet their needs;
* Be on the lookout for any virtual intrusion and take measures to remedy it;
* Manage and update the establishment’s telephone system;
* Develop and update a register of interventions carried out;
*Manage access control to the establishment, the alarm system, and the security system
video surveillance to ensure the safety of staff and visitors;
* Supervise the work of security agents;
* Develop the security program (including the emergency measures plan and
procedures);
* Manage surveillance systems;

* Diploma in computer science or equivalent training;
* 5 years of relevant experience in systems and network administration, including concrete achievements in project management, change management, or IT department management.
* Asset: knowledge or certifications among the following standards or repositories: ITIL,
PMP, PIPEDA, PCI, BABOK, PMBOK, GDPR, TOGAF, ISO 27001
* Asset: have knowledge or hold certification in information security among
CISSP, CISM and CISA
* Oral and written bilingualism (French and English)
