We are looking for one of our clients, a leader in the field of distribution. a Senior Supply Chain Director, this position is located near Metro Cote Vertu.

Reporting to the Vice President of Logistics, the Director of Supply Chain will play an important strategic role in managing operations, providing good leadership and ensuring the successful execution of continuous improvement initiatives.

The Director will lead a team of managers and guide them through day-to-day operations and optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities
* Manage supply chain operations to ensure nationwide service;
* Manage the budget to maximize operational efficiency and minimize costs;
* Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement in operations execution strategy;
* Develop plans that provide adequate and cost-effective solutions to support business growth;
* Provide leadership and coaching to direct and indirect reports of the supply chain team;
* Lead change and transformation initiatives through positive management practices that will ensure team member adoption and engagement;
* Develop and improve the use of systems and tools to increase productivity, streamline processes and achieve operational performance goals;
* Monitor and drive key end-to-end metrics performance to ensure departmental alignment and performance achievement;
* Analyze and explain complex data and statistics and find solutions when discrepancies, errors or problems are detected;
* Create key strategic and tactical plans, key performance metrics and dashboards to drive aligned performance for the supply chain team;
* Define goals and projects that will optimize the performance of warehouse and 3PL supply chain operations;
* Support strategic and tactical decision making regarding the supply chain network;
* Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to proactively support function improvement initiatives and to execute root cause analysis and facilitate sustainable corrective actions for operational and systems issues.

7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
Exercise professional leadership;
Analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
