POSITION TITLE: Payroll Partner, Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS)
REPORTS TO: Manager, Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS)
WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week (8am to 8pm hours of operation)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects and organizes payroll data input received by email, in accordance to the client payroll schedule for clients.
  • Input/import payroll data into various payroll products
  • Verifies that all payroll input data required for processing has been received, inputted, and audited.
  • Refers client problems and requests to appropriate Payroll Coordinator or Service Manager, maintaining timely and accurate communications with team
  • May calculate basic net pays
  • Compile data in Excel spreadsheet
  • Assists Payroll Coordinator with various post payroll tasks

 

 

COMPETENCIES

 

Education:

 

  • College related education (business, accounting, office admin)

 

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Required:

 

  • 1- or 2-years relevant business experience
  • Detail oriented, high accuracy with figures
  • Accurate data entry skills (numeric and alpha-numeric)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

 

 

 

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Preferred

 

  • Payroll experience an asset
  • PCP certification in progress an asset
  • General understanding of payroll administration, legislation an asset.

 

Attributes:

 

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written and strong customer service skills
