Job Description

The Mortgage Lead Coordinator facilitates the pre-sale of Manulife Bank’s mortgage solutions by first understanding client request and overall client need.  Mortgage Lead Coordinators are responsible for qualifying leads received via web leads, contact centres or referrals from advisors.  Follow-up occurs by telephone, email or chat to thoroughly understand lending needs and provide information about and promote our mortgage solutions.  Files are then forwarded to Mortgage Specialists (MS) who will take the client through the rest of the sales application (fulfillment) process.  Leads are tracked in and reported through our CRM tool (Salesforce.com). The Mortgage Lead Coordinator will be responsible for achieving defined targets relating to the successful distribution of mortgage deals. The position requires occasional travel for training, meetings, and regional events.

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • College or University degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the banking and mortgage brokerage industry
  • Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including intermediate level of expertise using Excel
  • French language an asset
